Teratai is an online boutique with silver handcrafted jewelry made in Bali and Thailand. 
The name of the brand comes from the Indonesian word for lotus flower which is "Teratai". A powerful and yet delicate sounding word that best describes the nature of the lotus flower, with its roots seated in murky waters, and its flower joyfully spreading towards the light of the sun. The logo design is meant to translate this metaphorical journey towards the light. In many cultures, the symbolism of the lotus flower is associated with rebirth, purity and spiritual awakening, values that the brand cares deeply about.
